Brussels, Belgium (May 25, 2023) – The final of the 2023 Voice Competition will be held at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts on Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 June, 8.15pm.

Programme of the final
The final will take place at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts, from Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 June. Each evening, four finalists will perform with the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Alain Altinoglu. The finalists will each sing three to six pieces of their own choice, including at least one opera aria and in at least two different languages. They do not have to prepare an imposed work, hence they do not have to stay for one week at the Music Chapel.

The ranking of the laureates will take place on Saturday 3 June after the performance of the last finalist, around midnight. The proclamation is freely accessible.

Thanks to the RTBF, the VRT and Proximus the performances are broadcast live and on demand on our website, and on La Trois, Canvas, Musiq3, Klara, Auvio and VRT MAX.

Jury members
While the composition of the jury may vary from one round to another, the members of the jury attend the whole of the round that they have been appointed to judge. In the final, the members are : Bernard Foccroulle (Chairman), June Anderson, Peter de Caluwe, Helmut Deutsch, Serge Dorny, Bernarda Fink, Jonathan Friend, Sumi Jo, Bejun Mehta, Patricia Petibon, Christoph Pregardien, José Van Dam and Evamaria Wieser.
