Experience the sublime beauty of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, lovingly written in memory of the French composer’s father. Soprano Sarah Dufresne and baritone Xiaomeng Zhang join forces with the Vancouver Chamber Choir to present this monumental choral work of eternal serenity. Maestro Tausk leads the orchestra in Johannes Brahms’ Song of Destiny and Alban Berg’s Violin Concerto, dedicated by the composer to “the memory of an angel” and masterfully interpreted by violinist Maria Milstein.
