Our second full symphonic concert on May 5, 2024 features a big classic. Jean-Maire Zeitouni will conduct “Pictures at an Exhibition”, inspired by repertoire that brings us visions of nature and its beauty. This concert will feature 75 musicians on stage and conclude with Mussorgksy’s majestic Pictures at an Exhibition, brilliantly orchestrated by Maurice Ravel. Opening this concert, is the Lark Ascending, by Ralph Vaughn Williams, the evocative title speaks for itself, and this work will feature our own concertmaster, and Ottawa violinist Erica Miller.
