A crisp, fresh and funky genre-bending blend of jazz, electro-funk and R&B, it’s time to get your groove on with this Vancouver-based quartet

Taking “cinematic jazz to the next level” (The Peak), the Mary Ancheta Quartet are known for their supercharged fusion of jazz, electro-funk and R&B.

Canadian Filipina keyboardist Mary Ancheta leads the quartet, with Paul Clark on drums, Dominic Conway on sax and Matt Reid on bass. Transporting their genre-bending sounds around the globe, the Quartet will represent Canada at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan.

Mary Ancheta has worked as a musician, performer, producer and composer for film and television. Expect to hear arresting melodies and irresistible grooves that encompass her experience in film scoring, all inspired by the likes of Squarepusher, The Meters, John Scofield and Prince.
