Daniel Taylor is one of the soloists with the Ottawa Bach Choir
and the Ensemble Caprice baroque orchestra
under the direction of Dr.Lisette Canton.
The concert features festive repertoire for Christmas inspired by
Italian composers working in Venice during the early Baroque period.
Featuring :
Monteverdi’s Christmas Vespers from the 1640-41 Selva morale e spirituale collection,
polychoral works by Giovanni Gabrieli and works by Bassano and Croce.
