A Celeigh Cardinal performance is a profound, soulful triumph of songs that blend roots, folk, rock and pop. Her voice at once evokes a gentleness and control which can turn to raucous, gut wrenching, twisted, turn-yourself-inside-out blues within a single phrase. She is a passionate performer draws an emotional response with her deliberate words and rich contralto voice. This spring Celeigh has been nominated for a CBC Indigenous Music Award for best pop album and has also received a whopping eight Edmonton Music Awards nominations for her recently released album, “Everything and Nothing at all”. She will be playing multiple Canadian Festivals this summer and will be touring in Scandinavia in the fall. She is currently based out of Edmonton, Alberta and continues to perform with her trio and five piece band.
On Saturday, June 16th Celeigh and her trio will be joining us for the 3rd concert in our 2018 Concert Series. Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 7:30pm. Cash bar.
