Canterbury Trebles Women’s Ensemble, founded 2005, will celebrate their 15

th anniversary – 3
years late due to the pandemic! – with the world premiere of a new choral work by celebrated composer
Christine Donkin.
Christine Donkin, who was previously based in Ottawa, and now resides in British Columbia, is an
award-winning composer whose work is gaining international prominence.
The concert, under the direction of Artistic Director James Caswell, will also feature highlights from the
choir’s fifteen year repertoire.
The choir gratefully acknowledges the support of SOCAN and the City of Ottawa in funding the work and
its first performance.
