Denis Plante, Quebec virtuoso of the bandoneon, unveils tango secrets through storytelling and music in “Astor and Me.” Playing an authentic doble A series bandoneon, he performs works by Gardel, Troilo, Pugliese, Piazzolla, and his own compositions. The spiritual son of Astor Piazzolla, Plante has enriched the bandoneon repertoire with hundreds of works and performs worldwide with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles.
