La mandoline et la mandole sont souvent associées au répertoire baroque et traditionnel.
Mais on imagine rarement toutes les couleurs et les possibilités qu’offrent ces instruments à cordes pincées. Le Trio Benzaiten, qui les associe au piano, se propose de revisiter des grands classiques de la musique de chambre : de Franz Schubert à César Franck, en passant par Julie Thériault, compositrice québécoise, laissez-vous surprendre par de nouvelles sonorités.
We tend to associate the song of the mandolin and the mandola to baroque and traditional music. In fact, there are a lots of others possibilities provided by the colours of these plucked strings instruments.
The mission of Trio Benzaiten is to highlight this instrument through a new repertoire : from Franz Schubert to César Franck and to Julie Thériault, Quebec composer! Immerse yourself with the exotic sounds of Mandolins accompanied by the piano.
