From August 3 to 9, 2025, CAMMAC Music Centre will host Stravinsky’s “The Soldier’s Tale” presented through puppetry. To mark the occasion, the piece will also be performed in a concert version (without puppets), under the direction of Charles-Éric Fontaine, Artistic Director of Ensemble Éclat and 2023 Laureate of the Fondation Royaumont, featuring violinist Marc Djokic (Concertmaster of the Orchestre Classique de Montréal and 2024 Juno Award winner), clarinetist Simon Aldrich (Principal Clarinet of the Orchestre Métropolitain and member of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne), along with other guest musicians.
