〈 Née de la rencontre entre le documentaire, l’identité culturelle, et l’animalité, la troisième réincarnation de ce projet inclut les fruits d’une visite de la maison du grand-père de la chorégraphe en Chine. Avec un vidéographe, elle suit les pas de cet homme. Au passage, elle découvre que l’art martial qu’elle pratique – le Hung Gar, qui s’inspire des animaux et caractérise son esthétique – provient tout comme elle de Foshan, où se situe son village ancestral. Pendant onze jours, avec le soutien d’un musicien, d’un vidéaste, et d’un concepteur lumière, elle construit une installation à partir d’objets amassés lors de son périple. Les douzième et treizième jours, elle vous invite à plonger dans cet environnement immersif. Passez en après-midi ou en soirée, que ce soit pour quelques minutes ou quelques heures, pour découvrir un programme diversifié incluant solos chorégraphiques. 〉
〈 Initially an encounter between documentary film, cultural identity and animality, this project’s third iteration includes the fruits of a voyage to the choreographer’s grandfather’s home in China. Along with a videographer, she follows and maps his traces. Along the way, she discovers that her ancestral village is situated in Foshan, the birthplace of Hung Gar, a martial art inspired by animals that she practices and that marks her movement aesthetic. Over eleven days, she builds an installation from the collected artefacts of her journey, alongside collaborators in music, video, and lighting design. On days twelve and thirteen, she invites you to explore this immersive environment throughout the afternoon and evening, an exhibition with a varied programme of activities, including solo choreographies. 〉
