Due to the rainy weather forecast, Piano Project YYC: Élisabeth Pion with Sara Hahn-Scinocco & Antoine St-Onge will now take place at the CORE Shopping Centre (4th Street glass bridge on Level 2, directly in front of Holt Renfrew).

The trio’s program features works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Louise Farrenc, Johannes Brahms and Gaetano Donizetti, including the lyrical beauty of Brahms’s 3 Intermezzi and both movements of Villa-Lobos’s Bachianas brasileiras No. 6, a Bach-inspired work infused with Brazilian musical character.

The concert will be presented bilingually in English and French, welcoming audiences to experience the music in both of Canada’s official languages.
