Born in São Paulo into a family of musicians, singer, guitarist, and songwriter Paulo Ramos draws inspiration from Brazil’s rich musical traditions while cultivating a deeply personal artistic voice. Since settling in Montreal in 1986, he has become one of Canada’s leading ambassadors of Brazilian music, performing extensively across Canada and on international stages.
Winner of a Juno Award for Africa do Brasil, Paulo Ramos has built an extraordinary career spanning more than four decades, marked by acclaimed recordings, international tours, and collaborations with renowned musicians.
Joined by outstanding collaborators, he offers a vibrant concert where virtuosity, emotion, and the infectious spirit of Brazilian music come together in a joyful celebration of one of the world’s richest musical traditions.
