Rome: the capital where Handel first rose to prominence and Corelli devised the concerto grosso, the place that inspired tributes from Respighi and countless film scores from Nino Rota. This programme pays tribute to the Eternal City, as the Museum proudly displays renowned Roman marble sculptures. For the occasion, contralto Rose Naggar-Tremblay and emerging conductor Kyrian Friedenberg make their Violons du Roy debuts.
In conjunction with the exhibition The Torlonia Collection: Masterpieces of Roman Sculpture
