With the original film projected on the big screen in high definition, Leonard Bernstein’s iconic music will be performed by a full symphony orchestra under the baton of conductor Evan Mitchell, with the film’s original vocals and dialogue.

A timeless story of forbidden love, this Oscar-winning classic is a moving portrait of connection in a dangerous, divided world. Winner of 10 Academy Awards®, including Best Picture, West Side Story is considered one of the greatest achievements in the history of movie musicals.

Directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins, this modern-day retelling of Romeo and Juliet features Robbins’ electrifying choreography, with lyrics by renowned musical theatre legend Stephen Sondheim, a screenplay by Ernest Lehman based on the stage play produced by Robert E. Griffith and Harold S. Prince adapted from Arthur Laurents’ book.
