Known for her “clear, brilliant and crystalline voice,” Canadian soprano Magali Simard-Galdè makes her ESO debut with a performance full of song, including Mahler’s colourful Symphony No. 4, and two heavenly selections by Mozart for voice and orchestra.
Plus, inspired by a poem of the same name, Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending will feature ESO’s own violinist Eric Buchmann playing the role of the titular bird in this moving work.
