The Contracello duo presents instrumental versions of their favorite songs.
Drawn from the classical repertoire and from French songs, the melodies they have chosen highlight the rich and deep sounds of the cello and the double bass. On the program are works by Villa-Lobos, Kosma, Trenet, Aznavour, Rota, and Vian. A warmly atmospheric musical moment with tunes especially arranged by musicians Sophie Coderre and Francis Palma-Pelletier.
