The greatest pleasure of jazzmen has always been to surprise the audience by presenting the music that is most familiar to them from an entirely unexpected angle. With the music of the Beatles, which is already one of the most colorful there is, the trio, formed by pianist Guillaume Martineau, double bassist Éric Lagacé and drummer Mark Nelson, gives it their all to burst these melodies that have gone around the world. Through dazzling improvisations and disconcerting arrangements, “Come Together”, “Hey Jude” or “Blackbird” will take on a new meaning, singularly colored by the imagination of our three musicians.
