The St. Barnabas Choir will present a 𝐹𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑎𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑁𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝐿𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐶𝑎𝑟𝑜𝑙𝑠 at the Anglican Church of Saint Barnabas in Saint-Lambert on Friday, December 23ʳᵈ at 7:30 p.m.
The service will be presented in the traditional style of King’s College, Cambridge. Music directors Matthieu Latreille and Francine Nguyen-Savaria will conduct and accompany the choir.
The Festival was first presented at King’s College in 1918. It was first broadcast in 1928 and is now broadcast to millions of people around the world. The service includes Christmas carols and Bible readings in English and French. The opening carol is always “Once in Royal David’s City.”
