The Choir of The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul presents a choral vigil in defense of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights. The A&P Choir will perform works by sexually and gender diverse composers like Francis Poulenc, Pax Ressler, Claude Vivier, and Jennifer Higdon; of particular note is the world premiere of “They Told Me . . .” by Rebecca Gray on a libretto by Patricia Yates, commissioned for the occasion. This concert is presented in support of the Montreal Trans Patient Union (transpatientunion.org) and GRIS-Montréal (gris.ca); 70% of the funds raised will be split between these two wonderful organizations.
