CMIM 2025 Announces its Five Finalists

Montreal, June 4, 2025 – Following the Semifinal, the International Jury of the Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM) has selected the five singers who will continue on to the Grand Final of the Voice 2025 edition. This decision, the result of a rigorous process, comes after a series of remarkable performances, during which the competitors won over the jury and the public with their exceptional artistry, expressiveness, and musical sensitivity.

Chaired by soprano Adrianne Pieczonka, the Voice 2025 International Jury is composed of seven members recognized worldwide for their expertise and experience in the music milieu: Harolyn Blackwell, Iain Burnside, Étienne Dupuis, Anthony Freud, Roberto Mauro, Christina Scheppelmann and Delores Ziegler. After the deliberation, they selected the five finalists.

Rendez-vous for the Grand Final!

The Grand Final will take place at Maison symphonique this Friday, June 6th at 7:30 pm. That evening, the competitors will have the opportunity to demonstrate their artistry by performing with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM), the official orchestra of the CMIM, under the baton of Guest Conductor Patrick Summers.

Prizes and Grants

At the Grand Final, the name of the Grande Laureate will be revealed, along with the recipients of several special prizes. In total, the prizes and grants of the Voice 2025 edition are worth over $160,000.

Here are the prizes to be awarded on Friday evening:

Follow the Concours and vote for your favourite competitor

The public is invited to experience the excitement of the Concours by attending the rounds in person (tickets) or by watching every stage live on the CMIM’s website. Audience members can also vote now for their favourite competitor, either in person or online via the Concours’s website.

The winner of the ICI Musique Audience Choice Award will be announced at the Grand Final on June 6.
