Roshane Wright is a percussionist, drummer, composer, and educator from Portmore, Jamaica. He began playing at age seven and went on to teach and perform with the Jamique Ensemble while serving as an accompanist at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. Since moving to Canada in 2019 to study at Humber College with Mark Kelso and Larnell Lewis, Roshane has become a vibrant force in Toronto’s music scene. He is the architect of the Rosh Riddims Band and serves as musical director for Listening Room, where he leads dynamic jam sessions with musicians from across the city, and for Bammy Friday’s, where his band anchors the monthly event. In 2025, he received the Toronto Arts Foundation’s Breakthrough Jazz Artist Award and released Yaad to Abroad, available on all streaming platforms.

Rosh Riddims is a dynamic fusion band known for seamlessly blending genres such as Reggae, Jazz, R&B, and Neo Soul into a distinctive and captivating sound. Rooted in musical versatility and cultural expression, the band delivers high-energy performances that resonate with diverse audiences.
