Sinfonia de l’Ouest: Festive Baroque

The Sinfonia de l’Ouest will present its second concert of the 2023-2024 Season at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 9th, at St. Columba by-the-Lake Church, 11 Rodney Avenue in Pointe-Claire.

Guest artist for this concert will be renowned soprano – and Pointe-Claire resident – Aline Kutan, who will join the orchestra for excerpts from Handel’s Messiah and arias by J. S. Bach and Vivaldi.

The program will also include orchestral works by Vivaldi and Handel, and Samaras – a new work by Sinfonia violist Leo Purich that was performed last summer at the Summa cum Laude Festival in Vienna.

The concert will be conducted by the Sinfonia’s Artistic Director, Stewart Grant.
