Ottawa’s beloved Central Band of the Canadian Armed Forces returns with two outdoor performances in the beautiful Royal Grove at Rideau Hall. Bring a blanket or some chairs, andenjoy a picnic in style as the Central Band fills the air with bright, energetic music. Each 45-minute set begins at 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Since 1968, CB have provided musical support for CAF and Government of Canada events, playing in halls across Canada and the world over. This seniormost band of the Canadian Armed Forces is composed solely of auditioned, military-qualified musicians and, in addition to their official military duties, partners regularly with organizations in Ottawa and beyond to provide enriching musical experiences in the community. This afternoon’s programme is lively, fun, and delivered with CB’s characteristic precision and musical acuity.
