With original compositions inspired by modern jazz, funk, and blues, Pulsart Trio is a one-of-a-kind Canadian ensemble ready to take audiences on an unforgettable musical journey. Combining organ, vibraphone, and drums, the trio reimagines the spirit of 1960s jazz through a contemporary lens, infused with progressive jazz, funk, and experimental music. Every performance is a unique adventure where improvisation reigns and the instruments seem to take on a life of their own. Their latest album, Interférences, is a musical odyssey that carries listeners from Earth to the heart of the Crab Nebula, merging music and astronomy into a captivating sonic experience. This ambitious work marks an exciting new chapter for the ensemble. Now celebrating more than a decade together, Olivier Madore-Millette (organ), Simon Beauséjour (drums), and Jérémie Carrier (vibraphone) continue to reach for the stars. Their journey includes four critically acclaimed albums, two GAMIQ Award nominations, recognition for one of the best albums of 2019, and the Grand Prix de la Relève at the 2021 Festi Jazz International de Rimouski. In the fall of 2024, Pulsart released an EP with Pulsart’Kestra, an expanded version of the trio featuring nine musicians from Québec’s vibrant jazz scene.
