For more than twenty years, the Montréal-based ensemble Kleztory has brought klezmer music to audiences across Québec and around the world. Founded in 2000, the group has performed more than 1,000 concerts in over 20 countries, captivating audiences with its energy, virtuosity, and refreshingly open musical approach. With Meeting Point, its seventh album, Kleztory presents, for the first time, a program composed entirely of original works written by the members of the ensemble. Rooted in the klezmer tradition and enriched by influences from jazz, folk, classical music, film music, and even country, this repertoire is a true meeting point between heritage and contemporary creation. By turns festive, moving, and irresistibly uplifting, Meeting Point offers a vibrant musical experience filled with colour, emotion, and discovery, brought to life by six exceptional musicians.
