L’Outre-rêve combines orchestral and electroacoustic creations, dance and vocal art, sound tableaux and poetry within a mesmerizing narrative commissioned from multidisciplinary artist Symon Henry.
In an unrelenting quest, imaginary mythical characters engage with one another and reveal their stories of darkness and light in introductions to the four works entrusted to composers Myriam Boucher (CA), Annesley Black (CA/DE), Snežana Nešić (DE) and Symon Henry (CA). Symon Henry’s flamboyantly coloured tableaux-scores punctuate the show and guide the musical flow of the performers.
