Originally immigrating to Canada as a teenager, he balanced life as a registered nurse while pursuing his passion for music, emerging as a rising artist in Toronto’s Filipino-Canadian music scene. Known for his emotionally driven songwriting and engaging stage presence, Rhett gained attention after launching his debut solo concert Hits & Heartbeats at the People’s Theatre for the Performing Arts in Markham, Ontario — a showcase attended by over 800 people
