As part of its 42nd edition, Le FIFA is delighted to present the Quebec premiere of a new version of Mouvance by Acadian soprano Suzie LeBlanc and composer Jérôme Blais, on Saturday, March 16 at 7:30pm at Théâtre Outremont.

An artistic exploration of exile and uprootedness in Acadia, carried by the words of Gérald Leblanc, the interpretation of Suzie LeBlanc, the music of composer Jérôme Blais and the images of six short films produced by Renée Blanchar, the Mouvance project will be presented in its entirety and in a new version, for the first time in Quebec.

Soprano Suzie LeBlanc is nominated for Classical Album of the Year with Mouvance at the 53rd Juno Awards.

Accompanied by Norman Adams on cello and Pierre-André Doucet on piano, soprano Suzie LeBlanc will perform pieces from the Mouvance album, interwoven with screenings of short films inspired by the project and produced by Renée Blanchar.
