The programming of this 4^th edition is a reflection of what we have had to go through for more than one year and has sparked new values of resilience, of solidarity and of innovation. In this unprecedented context, our annual artistic residency program has never been so pertinent; such as an island of replenishment, where musicians of the world can come, in all security, and meet, exchange and create together. The artists are ready and are waiting for you to travel to the confines of their fertile imagination!

All performances take place at Église Saint-Enfant-Jésus in the Mile-End, 5035 rue Saint-Dominique in Montreal.

Evening 3

5:30 pm – Les Arrivants
The encounteer between 3 musicians recently installed in Montreal who merge the traditions of Argentinian tango, Arab music and Persian rhythms.

7:30 pm – Ensemble Oraciones
“Oraciones” refers to a type of song from the Sephardic repertoire and is specific to prayer. Following the Jews’ exodus from Spain all across Europe, a Ladino vocal art has developped, integrating diverse musical influences such as the Maftirims of Edirne.
