The young prodigies Felix, Franz and Ferruccio shared much more than just the first letter of their names. The three pianists and composers were writing concertos for piano and strings at an age when children were generally expected to go to school! Mendelssohn was only 13, Busoni 12 and the young Liszt 19 when he began composing Malédiction et rédemption.
