RAASMOTION, a not for profit, youth run organization, is an extraordinary collective driven by a shared vision: to ignite the vibrant flames of creative expression within Gujarati cultural and folk dance, namely Garba and Raas. With an ardent and dedicated youth presence spanning across Ontario, our endeavours have garnered immense admiration and acclaim among the vibrant individuals of the greater Toronto area and beyond.
Battle of the Raas is central Canada’s first intercollegiate raas-garba competition with the mission to create an experience where people meet passion and passion meets purpose. Through the power of performing arts we hope to foster a sustainable, tightly-knit network of performers, community members and supporters across the province, while encourgaing artistic expression and diversity. This year, we are thrilled to have 5 teams, with over 100+ youth participants, run by an amazing executive team to put together and present to you, Battle of the Raas 2026!!
