Material Transmissions, by Vancouver sound artist Anju Singh, is an interactive sound sculpture at the NAISA North Media Arts Centre in South River, Ontario that connects the sounds of hymn-based drones from temples with a sewing machine, and other industrial materials found in garment factories.  Join Anju Singh for an opening night artist talk on January 8 at 7 pm.

The exhibition of Material Transmissions launches the 25th year of the Deep Wireless Festival of Radio and Transmission Art, which provides a platform for artists exploring the possibilities of broadcast media and transmission technologies.
