Contemporary music has always held a prominent place at the Faculty of Music. Under the direction of conductor Jean-Michaël Lavoie, the Université de Montréal Contemporary Music Ensemble reimagines approaches to creation and artistic research, whether through landmark works of the 20th and 21st centuries or through world premieres. Presenting a wide-ranging repertoire, these striking concerts showcase the students of the Faculty and are offered free of charge!
