Sisters by nature and musical collaborators by choice, violinist Cendrine Despax and cellist Valérie Despax come together for two performances of eclectic repertoire for violin and cello, beginning at 2:00pm and 3:30pm. You may remember their standout performances at Rideau Hall last year as part of the Quatuor Despax, alongside their two brothers — but this time, Cendrine and Valérie Despax take centre stage as a dynamic duo. With a versatile programme ranging from Taylor Swift to Piazzolla to Mozart, these two shine across a variety of styles and genres. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic in style with a view of the Rideau Hall fountains and residence, while enjoying the sounds of the Despax Duo in the Grove. There’s something for everyone in this upbeat outdoor concert!
