Violist David Marks—also a guitarist and singer-songwriter—joins forces once again with his NACO colleague and double bassist extraordinaire Max Cardilli for their first performance since their packed ChamberPints debut in 2023. In the final Prime Time installment, the duo ventures beyond their classical roots, blending Appalachian and bluegrass traditions with classical forms and medieval ballads. This genre-bending programme puts the spotlight on the rich voices of viola and bass—no violins in sight!

As with every Prime Time concert, Pass Prime holders will enjoy this distinctive programme in the beautiful Rossy Pavilion at the National Arts Centre, with the opportunity to connect directly with the musicians and gain fresh perspectives on the music from the artists themselves.
