Ottawa’s own Vincent Ho turns 50 this year, and Chamberfest is marking the occasion in style! Beloved Chamberfriends SHHH!! Ensemble and the Gryphon Trio come together to perform selections from Ho’s extensive body of work, toasting his outstanding contributions to Canadian classical music with comedic insights from Jamie Parker, host extraordinaire.

Adding to the festivities is a rare and special treat: Ho himself takes the stage to perform The Swan, offering audiences the unique experience of hearing the composer interpret his own music—where creator and performer are one and the same.

It’s not every day a cherished festival collaborator and friend celebrates such a milestone. Join us in celebrating Vincent Ho’s remarkable career with music, camaraderie, and a joyful tribute to 50 years.
