Chamberfest welcomes back flautist Lara Deutsch, harpist Emily Belvedere, and Juno-nominated violist Marina Thibeaut as Trio Kalysta. Known for championing works by female and Canadian composers, Kalysta’s program is a tribute to Jocelyn Morlock — weeks before her passing, Morlock completed a commission for the trio entitled “The Uses of Solitude.”. This program explores new and old, joy and grief, and light and dark – with Jocelyn’s memory at the centre of it all.
