Local synth composer Nick Schofield’s latest release Ambient Ensemble was created using tape-slowed piano parts layered with synthesizers and a small chamber ensemble. Chamberfest is delighted to host the recreation of this minimalist album live with Ottawa’s own Philippe Charbonneau, Mika Posen (Merganzer), and Yolande Laroche (Orchidae).
