Passion for the music, passion for the tango: the ghost of María cannot be repressed in this dramatic concert-version of the surreal, three-character ‘tango operita’ sung in Spanish with surtitles in French & English. This rarely produced operatic homage to the urban underworld that produced the tango, by the famous Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, features the expressive voice and emotions of mezzo-soprano Julie Nesrallah and the suavity of baritone Clarence Frazer. At this event, the Byenvini organization will be collecting all types of winter clothing (new or used), footwear and accessories for distribution to newcomers (children and adults). So, please bring an item to help our new friends. Every piece counts and is most welcome!
