Step into a musical voyage of continents, centuries, and moods at Bison Noir: Songs of Distant Shores, featuring the classically trained and fearlessly virtuosic Ladom Ensemble.

This Canadian “mini-orchestra” of piano, cello, accordion, and percussion returns to Calgary after leaving the audience spell-bound at their 2023 sold-out show. Their program weaves Persian lyricism, klezmer dance, East Coast melodies, and classical touchstones into a seamless tapestry of sound—intimate, wild, and full of surprise.

Expect a relaxed evening of immersive storytelling through music and visual projections, blending original compositions with reimagined works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Prokofiev, and traditional melodies from around the world.
