Launch of the album Rhizome by pianist Manoel Vieira. This concert presents the result of a meeting between Brazilian roots and the sound «sphere» of Thelonious Monk, having found themselves throughout my musical career. The concert offers a journey through the respective matrices and their cultural origins, so different, but capable of entering a process of hybridization, giving rise to a musical experience both familiar and unknown, spontaneous and deep through original compositions and standard jazz covers.
