Our annual dinner gala continues the celebration of the 40th season as we honour our history and all those who have played a part in the Festival’s growth through so many successes and challenges since that first season in 1980. The party begins with hors d’oeuvres in the lobby as guests gather for the evening. The elegant full-course dinner is served at your table in the beautiful setting of the Charles W. Stockey Festival Performance Hall. Wine is included in the ticket price. Your attendance this evening helps to raise important funds for the Festival of the Sound. A tax receipt is issued for 50% of the ticket price. During the concert following the meal, you will meet the Syrène Saxophone Quartet, four lively young women who have named themselves after the Sirens from Homer’s Odyssey. Need we say more?

Handel: Selections from Water Music
Barber: Adagio for Strings
Bernstein: Music from West Side Story
