In a concert entirely focussed on the world of Johann Sebastian Bach, the five musicians of the Pentaèdre Wind Quintet demonstrate not only their virtuosity, but also the great range that the flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon create when they come together. A major work by American composer David Maslanka, directly inspired by Bach’s music, completes this brilliant programme.
