A virus laments its destructive love for the cell it consumes. The grief of tectonic rupture births new earth, as volcanic magma reshapes a landscape. A fungus weaves its wisdom through the mycelium network, the ancient underground oracle connecting all life.

Björk’s work renders the unseen seen, where cellular, cosmic, mythical, and spiritual realms converge into a single architecture. Known for pushing musical boundaries, Björk’s oeuvre defies simple categorization. It fuses electronic innovation, folk traditions, classical structure, and raw human emotion into a kaleidoscopic soundscape that inhabits both past and present.

Echoing her experimental spirit, the programme translates Björk’s intricate textures into pure acoustic form. Scored entirely for flutes—from the soaring heights of the piccolo to the subterranean depths of the sub-contrabass—each instrument adds its own distinct colour, together forming a single, breathing organism. What was once electronic becomes embodied; this is Björk reimagined through the raw elements of breath, wood, and metal.
