Allegra Chamber Music will be presenting their first live performance since confinement. Having had to cancel their last concert 3 hours before they set foot on stage, Allegra is thrilled to finally come together again to share an enchanting evening of chamber music with their audience.

For this poignant yet joyous moment, Allegra will be joined by their longtime friend, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, as they present a spectacular program of chamber favourites, reimagined the Allegra way. Fans, as well as newcomers, are sure to be transported back to a time of community and music-making as Allegra raises money for the season ahead, full of virtual and in-person concerts. Make sure to stick around after the music to hear a personal, in-depth conversation about the past 40 years of Allegra, as well as what the future holds.

The concert will be shot in high-definition, so you can place yourself directly in the concert hall from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in the world.

In these unique times do what you can to enhance your well-being. Allegra brings you the joy of wonderful, intimate chamber music. Feed your heart and soothe your soul with music.

Embrace Music. Embrace Allegra. See you there.

About Author

For over 35 years, Allegra has remained the only chamber music organization in Montreal that performs an annual series of 6 concerts free of charge to the public. Our Mission: to provide an enriched musical experience by performing traditional chamber music repertoires with unique musical arrangements, as well as seldom heard and contemporary works, free of charge to the public. Our Vision: to nurture a lifelong appreciation of chamber music through citywide outreach to unite Montreal's finest chamber musicians with a vibrant, diverse, and multi-generational audience. Our Concerts are made possible through the generosity of our sponsors and friends, as well as from funds raised through our Annual Gala Concert, held every September.
