The Spanish name PARA SIEMPRE-meaning Forever-pays tribute to Return to Forever, the legendary jazz fusion group founded by pianist and composer Chick Corea. It also reflects Corea’s lifelong love of Spanish music and culture. Featuring five outstanding musicians (vocals, guitar, piano, bass, and drums/percussion), PARA SIEMPRE presents fresh, original interpretations of some of the most iconic works by Armando Anthony “Chick” Corea, one of the most influential figures in jazz history. The program includes celebrated classics such as Spain, Windows, 500 Miles High, La Fiesta, and other enduring jazz standards.
