Beethoven’s Tempest Sonata anchors the evening with its dramatic intensity, followed by a virtuosic solo piano suite from Bernstein’s West Side Story, alive with rhythmic energy and lyricism. The second half features Chopin’s complete 24 Preludes, a masterful sequence of miniature worlds that shift seamlessly between storm and calm, forming a compelling and deeply expressive musical journey.
