It is with great joy that bassist and singer Blanche Baillargeon presents the show from her most recent album, Le Nid. In the company of exceptional musicians. who have accompanied her for many years, she offers a superb corpus of instrumental or sung compositions that invite listeners to let themselves be carried away by a rich and sensitive music, shaped to describe the rustle of the forest, the flight of birds and the light in the landscape. Ranked among the 15 best albums of 2023 by Le Devoir in all categories and nominated for the Opus awards as best jazz album of the year, Le Nid charms and surprises wherever it goes. The eponymous show, free and sensitive, proves once again the infinite force of gentleness.
