The Montreal Bach Festival announces the live streaming of the closing concert of the Festival featuring Yo-Yo Ma performing Bach’s Six Suites for Cello.

The concert at the Maison symphonique is sold out.

The beautiful St. James United Church, few blocks away from Place des Arts, is the perfect setting for a live streaming of this special concert. Yo-YoMa’s world tour of Bach’s Cello Suites comprises of 36 concerts and this Montreal concert is the only one taking place in Canada. To celebrate the occasion the Bach Festival is proud to make this concert accessible to a greater number of Montrealers”.

The location chosen for this broadcast is St. James United Church, on Ste-Catherine Street, a stone’s throw from Place des Arts. The unique atmosphere of this church as well as the high-performance sound system and high-resolution images (a ProdCan production) will make the experience out of the ordinary. And there is an unobstructed view from all seats.

The streaming takes place on December 7 at St. James United Church at 6:30 PM
Arrival at 6 PM is recommended.
